This accusing everything of being “grooming” is getting silly. It’s not like he met her when she was 14 and “groomed” her for years. They met towards the end of her senior year in HS. I seem to recall that she started college on the east coast, and later on transferred to LA to be close to him, and yes he did pay for her tuition. That’s not “grooming”, that’s having a rich and famous boyfriend.

She attended GWU while I was a student there. And yes, me and my friends thought he was a creep then!

Oh he is creepy but she got something out of the relationship. She came from what would be considered a normal family background- ie not like the children jerry sandusky or jeffrey epstein targeted. I imagine she got a lot of attention from boys her age and older. Maybe she just thought he is rich and famous why not. It must have been flattering? I will say in college a 25 year old man or women seemed so old...a 38 year old...ancient.

Really? When did you go to college? I went to college in the mid 90s, and most of the guys I dated were in their mid 20s.

By senior year I was 21 myself (and 22 when I graduated) so the the thought that 25 seemed "so old" is...odd.
