+1 they probably want to be like them, but since they can they are annoyed. |

Having "anxiety" |
+100 Most of us have some anxiety. Lots of us a lot of anxiety. None of us wants to hear about yours all the time. |
Honestly, there are so many people out there who don’t understand the art of conversing. They don’t understand that it’s a give-and-take of multiple individuals. They literally just want to talk about themselves the whole time and have no idea how to reciprocate and ask about others. That’s probably why it seems like they make their interests their entire personality. You end up finding out all about what makes them tick, and they know nothing about you.
If possible, I try to avoid these people because they’re exhausting and usually boring. |
Being MAGA, Trump cult
Being anti-Trump. I’m a very political person, but I can’t stand people who make their whole identity or political ideology about Trump. |
Nurses and I’m a nurse. And don’t get me started on certain nurses of social media. Not the ones providing good info. The vapid ones dancing on TikTok. Or ones who are more concerned about their Influencer status but don’t actually have much nursing experience. |
Pronoun people / Trans LBGTQ advocates - live your life. I hope there's more to it than your sexuality.
People constantly talking about their "neurodivergence" when they're not. Clean eating / Clean beauty people. They whole "Clean'" verbiage grates. |
Thirsty moms and dads living vicariously thru their kids.
One parent videotaped their college bound daughter leaving the house, in the car and then walking to her impeccably decorated dorm room. This was posted for all of us to see on social. In addition to photos of every single thing their precious kids have done, including their baby who farted and had to post it with flowers photoshopped coming out of its diaper. |
Pregnant women on social media!
We get it, you’re pregnant! We don’t need daily belly pics complete with dramatic belly rubs. We see your belly, you don’t need to point it out. |
Crazy, right? Only on DCUM. |
I’ll give a pass for first time moms. But for the moms who are pregnant with baby #4, you’re annoying as all hell. |
- people who appropriate the ethnicity/culture of their spouse and preen around promoting every cliche of said culture. FYI: your in-laws don’t like you.
- people who think their spouse’s profession somehow makes them the same profession. “As the wife of a surgeon…” |
Going to therapy IS something to be proud of. It means people are being proactive about their mental health which is a good thing. People should talk about it publicly because in the past there was stigma about such things and there shouldn’t be. It is in the public interest to encourage and normalize therapy for those who need it. |
