| I love her. She is beautiful, has aged gracefully, works out, is healthy, is a good mom and a successful business woman. And married to David Beckham! |

+1. I love food but I am so busy with kids and life that I eat whenever I feel very hungry and usually small amounts of whatever healthy good I have around. Not for any other reason but the fact that I often don’t have time to eat and enjoy long, big meals and only eat to have energy and go through my day. The benefit is, it has kept me at size 0. I am the same age as Victoria and the same build. |
I disagree. I think she was pretty and very charismatic from the get go. By far the prettiest Spice Girl. I am European, and I can tell you that she was hugely popular in the 90s. My hot French boyfriend at the time had a huge crush on her. I think Americans are used to the blond bimbo look (aka Jessica Simpson - big fake whitened teeth, big boobs, muscular legs, chicken of the sea brains, lol) and don’t really have a great sense of what is considered natural beauty outside of the US. Like you guys thing here that Jennifer Aniston is this great beauty (such a boring and boring-looking woman), and we European just roll our eyes. |

So I could never do this, nor would I ever deny myself basic pleasures of life like butter or regular old carbs. And yeah, the fact that it all seems motivated by a need to be as small as possible, which is sad and depressing.
However, I kind of wish I could eat the same meal every day like that. I get so tired of having to constantly come up with meals. Even just making lunch for myself at home is such a chore. Even just selecting from the group of meals I often make for myself is a chore. So the idea of just checking off "decide what to eat" from my to do list on a permanent basis sounds kind of amazing. |
| I wish I could make myself do this too. I think psychologically it might be the answer to my issues with losing weight. If I could limit myself severely to healthy meals that are not high in calories but are foods I like and eat the same thing everyday then I would eliminate all the thinking about what I want to or should or am going to eat. In other words make it totally a non issue and stop thinking about it at all. All this excessive enjoyment of food, not just eating it but thinking about it, is a big part of my problem. |
| I dont know how healthy that is. No butter + no oil = not a lot of healthy fats, unless she's loading up on nut butters and avocado and salmon all the time. But it's definitely better than eating the processed garbage most people eat. |
I'm very confident the Beckhams have private chefs and dietitians who make sure Victoria Beckham gets the quota of nutrients. That's why very wealthy people always look so thin and trim. |
This. I thought most people knew that celebrities of this caliber more than like have staff/team of chefs, etc. that plan all of their meals. There is no shame in that game, I wish I had a personal chef myself. I remember watching separate documentaries on Ronaldo and Lady Gaga and both of them showed them speaking to their personal chefs about that day’s menu and the chef making all the food. Ronaldo only made himself his own coffee, everything else was meticulously planned and prepared for him. Lady Gaga was in preps for her Super Bowl performance in her show and was requesting low fat menu items. This is what these people do, they’re not like us. |

It is sad that her husband David said in the Vogue article that his memory of her eating off his plate (while pregnant with Harper) was one of his favorite evenings. Enjoyment of food together is important for cultural, familial and sensual bonding. She looks fabulous and is probably very healthy, but there is still loss here. We’ll see when Harper is an adult and writes a tell-all how the Orthorexia affected her body image and eating habits. |

If I ever win the lotto, the first thing I'm doing is hiring a FT chef who will meal plan healthy meals, do the grocery shopping, prep and cooking.
Honestly, it would be life changing for my family. |
| It's definitely disordered eating, be it anorexia or something else. I had a good friend with severe anorexia and who almost died and this was the way she ate, when she did eat. But maybe it could also be some sort of food aversions or something else? I'm sure there are several other medical reasons for this behavior besides anorexia. |
| she might just like this food? I LOVE salads and have said many times that if I could eat a salad every day for the rest of my life I would. |
Agree to most of this, but how is she beautiful? She has a pinched face with pointy features. Her value is being skinny. Not beautiful! And she knows this, hence her eating the same meal daily and avoiding fats. |
