Victoria Beckham has eaten the same meal for 25 years

It is sad that her husband David said in the Vogue article that his memory of her eating off his plate (while pregnant with Harper) was one of his favorite evenings. Enjoyment of food together is important for cultural, familial and sensual bonding. She looks fabulous and is probably very healthy, but there is still loss here. We’ll see when Harper is an adult and writes a tell-all how the Orthorexia affected her body image and eating habits.

I'll be curious to see how this shakes out too. I think David, while careful with his words, is aware there is an "issue" with Victoria and food and seems to be doing what he can to show healthy eating habits. He always seems to be in the kitchen cooking with Harper, making a lot of food Victoria doesn't touch.

I just can't help think of the overload on mercury. Salmon twice a week? Sure! But 7 days a week? Too much. Is she a pescatarian?

Is there some reason you can't eat a salad everyday for the rest of your life? I decided awhile back to eat a salad everyday and I have had no real trouble doing that except sometimes on a trip I'll miss a day or two.

Agree to most of this, but how is she beautiful? She has a pinched face with pointy features. Her value is being skinny. Not beautiful! And she knows this, hence her eating the same meal daily and avoiding fats.

That's exactly what makes her heart shaped face beautiful.
She also has a really good plastic surgeon who performed just a few subtle tweaks, without changing her main features.

Sigh. Can we quit with the race qualifier? Think of how it would sound it used in reference to women of color.

But eating disorders are far more common in white women than women of color. It would be more surprising if it was a poc we were taking about.

Let’s check out the will and jada thread for some normalcy.

Much better to overeat and subscribe to ozempic, because that's normal

Eh, I'm a white woman, and white cultural norms surrounding body weight are toxic. It is indeed (primarily) a white woman problem.

You do know there is a healthy place in between those two extremes, right?

I find this nuts. She's naturally thin like me and I eat a wide variety of food, many of them calorie rich.. i have just learned to not eat a lot. I can't imagine living like her. I eat bagels, ice cream, tons of butter TBH, along with healthier foods and I still manage to weigh 113lbs at 5'7" and I barely exercise these days. She doesn't need to be this extreme. She sounds kind of stupid to be honest if she thinks she needs to eat this way.

Yes, I do know that, because I am at that healthy place. Just reminding body shamers of skinny white women that overeating is a real problem in this country.

I mean… you sound kind of stupid to be honest for giving her advice she’ll never see and didn’t ask for.

She has always been incredibly thin yet she managed to produce four (seemingly) healthy babies. I think she’s fine.
