Anyone watched the new Netflix documentary series on the Twin Flames cult? Thoughts?
I was in equal measures fascinated and increasingly infuriated with the cult leaders. Many of their outlandish pronouncements and demands were cartoonishly funny but tragically believed and followed … many parallels between their supreme leader and the Sarah Lawrence dad in terms of sucking vulnerable people in before controlling and exploiting them. |

Yes and was amazed by how fast he moved from Business major at little known Michigan university to self fashioned messiah destined to be a billionaire - he only got into alternative spiritual new agey stuff after he met his Canadian wife in Arizona … he learned fast and quickly Turned it into self serving theology … again like at Sarah Lawrence cult, there are Some smart and well educated victims … |

IVF for Grace to be born in the right body? Did Shaleia really have ectopic and he just like told her it was only suspected because the embryo was too small to be detected? Jeff is such an effing tool. Shaleia being told she was not what he expected because she is fat. Just horrible, horrible people Going to jail for stalking. So good! I love how in the videos Shaleia just repeats random words he is saying. Like most cult-- but maybe more so with this one it shows how they are to pray on the vulnerable. Real psycho to do that.
I noticed that Christine Emerick's LinkedIn was up yesterday but gone today. She advanced work was done by degree mills. Her PhD is from Capella University in. Emergency management. 😬 |

Right? Although it wasn’t random but a narcissistic psychopath’s response to protecting his multi level Ponzi scheme cult by not allowing members to find flames outside the cult - as they were experiencing blow back from outsiders not buying into the perverse theology as twin flames. As they were dominated by female members he cynically took advantage of c Broader societal questioning of gender categories and fluidity by falsely claiming women who have identified as women their entire lives are actually spiritual men. I was not sure whether to laugh or cry when most of them went along with it and got irreversible surgery and hormonal treatment. What kind of doctors went along with this without question? Really hope this ponzi cult gets shut down and the members get deprogrammed and supported online rebuilding their lives. |

Yeah, this was very bizarre. Can you tell if an embryo is male or female before implantation? Were they trying to genetically engineer sex? Is that why the IVF? I actually wonder if there wasn't any IVF -- they were just using the idea of the expense of IVF to raise (extract!) more money from their followers? Ectopic pregnancies are horrible, life threatening emergencies, so the way that Shaleia and Jeff mentioned it, like it was nothing, seemed weird to me -- I guess I don't buy it that she had an ectopic pregnancy. Which means I think she probably wasn't pregnant at all. Who knows? It's all so bizarre. But the stuff about "baby Grace" being their third flame, and how she wouldn't need sex because she could satisfy her self terrified me because what the hell happens if they actually do have a child? I see abuse waiting to happen. |

It was such an easy answer to the problem of having 95% women members, but I'm absolutely shocked that it actually worked with so many of them. Or with anyone at all, really. I watch Jeff and Shaleia on video and I have a very hard time believing that anyone would listen to them at all. When I watched The Vow, I thought "Oh, wow, that guy is weird, I hope I wouldn't fall for this nonsense" ... but I could see how people would. With Jeff and Shaleia? I don't see how anyone would listen to them at all. I guess they just managed to hook people who were desperately wanting love. Like desperate for it. |

Yes vulnerable lonely people who had often just experienced painful rejection - did you notice how nice and validating they were to new comers such as Keely’s younger sister? Once they had their claws dug deep he quickly began with gaslighting and abuse. I was wondering the same thing but ended up on the side of “There but for the grace of God go I” as you never k ow how your brain would react to this kind of simplistic problem solving seduction if you were at your lowest and feeling alone. The Cult really took off during the pandemic when so many people felt isolated and depressed. I had a family and good friends to anchor me but who knows if I was at a different stage of life when all that rolled out? |
