Interested girls and parents should visit Scouts BSA Troop 248 for Girls during our all-day and socially distanced encampment at picnic sites 23 and 24 in Rock Creek Park. We are 40 girls strong, but will be separated into our four smaller groups called "patrols" -- so we will be COVID-safe. Bring your masks! We will be cooking, fire building, hiking, orienteering and other things we do on our monthly overnight camping trips. Arrive at 11:30 AM in time for some fresh food. Stay with us unit 1:15 PM so you can meet our girls and learn how they camp somewhere each month and take week-long camping trips together during the summer. Each girl much be accompanied by a parent, and they will meet with our Scoutmaster and Senior Patrol Leader (the elected head girl) separately in the nearby picnic shelter, where they will be treated to sandwiches and receive an orientation on Scouts BSA Troop 248 for Girls. We are ALL-GIRL and run by and for GIRLS.

So much for "eco-friendly." Even "progressive" school systems like Montgomery County's are way behind the times when it comes to going green.

Can you imagine having to choose between feeding your child and changing her diaper? In the United States, one in three mothers have had to make that choice.

I have noticed that a significant number of questions have come up from time to time about wills, trusts, guardians and other related issues. As an estate attorney, I wanted to help answer some of these questions with this post. I hope that this post serves as a resource. It would be my peasure to answer any questions that this post raises.
