Feast of Sharing - Thanksgiving Dinner Theater

Proceeds from the event will go towards summer camp scholarships for children who are part of a local shelter for women and children. Many families in the United States select to send their children to summer camps to provide more opportunity for growth and learning. Camp provides children with organized activities, time for free play, a nurturing and safe environment, and in our case a hot meal— a great experience that offers extraordinary learning opportunities and enduring memories. Unfortunately, many low-income families do not have the option of summer camp and their children end up at quite a disadvantage, in a total summer slump. Your involvement in Cathay’s Thanksgiving event will ensure that no child is denied an enriching summer camp experience.
