Going home hungry after birthday parties

Yeah this is bad. Whenever we have a party we cater and it usually costs at least 300. Maybe these parents are cheap.

I went to a baby shower once with barely any food, after driving 2+ hours to get there! And there wasn't much in the town to go to afterwards when I was starving. I think I recall a few pretzels, fruit and packaged cookies.

OP here. Someone bumped my old thread from five years ago. My kids are now in elementary school and most parties are drop off. I no longer care if hosts offer food or not. My kids are older so eating later is no longer a big deal.
