What do you call your MIL?

With all these MIL posts...wondering if anyone calls her "mom"? Pretty sure none of my friends do. Is it a generational thing?

I call her by her first name. I can't see myself ever calling her "mom."

To her face or behind her back? Bwahaha, just kidding. I call her by her first name. They suggested "mom" and "dad" but it didn't seem quite right for me (all I could think was, I have my own mom and dad, so no thanks). Thus we agreed on first names instead.

I call her by her first name or Grandma if the kids are around.

I call mine Auntie as is normal in her culture. I can't imagine calling her mom!

I call my inlaws Madre and Padre. DH and siblings started this as adults, before I met him. We are all native English speakers, but everyone in his family has multiple nicknames. FWIW I really like my in-laws and they seem to like me.

I call her by her first name. Calling her Mom just didn't feel right. My DH does the same with my Mom.
