Why was my post on the obnoxious liberal marching thru neighborhood deleted?

OP here, and I was not lying!

As I said, they weren't chanting paragraph-long diatribes. They were chanting the same five words over and over again: "No f'ing borders! no deportations!"

Seems like the inky defense you have when your fellow liberals act like unhinged brats is to call the person pointing out a liar - and making up your own lie in the process.

You claimed that they said a lot more than that including taking over schools and so on.

Now YOU are lying too! When did I say they said anything about taking over schools. Again, I said they were yelling "NO FUKING BORDERS....NO DEPORTSTIONS." You are so biased that you are reading things that aren't even there.

P.S. I was going to say to go look at the thread, but then I remembered.....you deleted it.

So, there's no evidence. No you are free to make up lies. I never even mentioned schools.

Others who read the thread can confirm.

Others? You mean up the other liberals making up shit and calling me a liar? Now you are encouraging them to come out of the woodwork and add to the lies, and why....because I dared reveal unacceptable, and possibly illegal actions, by obnoxious liberals. And the original thread, which proves it has been deleted!

I swear to G-d and on my grandparents' graves that I reported that they said FIVE words (no f'ing borders, no deportations) and now you are making up lies to try to defend your unwarranted deletion. Can't you just apologize and admit you made a wrong judgment deleting a thread in which a conservative dared point out that an instance of liberals shouting profanities at 9 pm in a private neighborhood?

THIS is how a conservative is punished on this site. If you bring out unacceptable and obnoxious liberal behavior, it's night of the long knives. False accusations....told to shut up and go away.....whatever. And to make matters worse, the moderstor deletes the thread and then accuses the conservative of making statements she didn't make.

NP here. Jeff can delete whatever posts he wants, but I think this deletion was not warranted. Lots of people post on DCUM to whine. As I wrote on OP’s thread, I would be incensed if selfish idiots with no regard for innocent third parties decide to disturb their sleep. They can go and protest as close to the White House as they can. I have a teen who has exams and auditions and needs his sleep.

The people who support out elected officials that institute these policies are not "innocent third parties." If OP's sleep was disturbed, that's OK by me. Get your kid some earplugs.

I am not OP, by the way. My children are innocent third parties, and it's their sleep that are disturbed, and no, they should not need to wear earplugs to accommodate people who yell in the night.

I have to say that I am VERY disappointed in you, Jeff. I have used DCUM for a decade and love it. Just because the OP is irrationally angry against liberals, it does not make her story automatically untrue. And if her story is true (whether exaggerated or not), then she has a point - it's really annoying for a private individual to be disturbed at night by protesters (or construction work, or a neighborhood party).

I don't believe for a second that any of you who are attacking OP would be happy if protesters had started making noise so late at night, even if you agreed with them.

How sad that even decent folk, as I am sure you all are, fall victim to the breakdown of civil discourse. I hope you can calm down and see that none of you should be so angry at OP.
It's funny that I should be defending her, when I myself do not approve of this administration, my family is the target of Border Control agents every time we enter the US, because some of us are not citizens.

Personally, I'm loving this. But, maybe it's because I know Jeff IRL a little. Anyway, if you want to see censorship of a forum - try to get on the Chevy Chase DC yahoo group - the moderator will actually edit your posts without telling you. Sometimes quite substantial changes. Insane. At least Jeff just has fun albeit arbitrary rules that pick on conservatives. I'm all for it.

Thanks for the perspective, PP. I think it's very unfortunate, because it gives credence to conservatives' claims that they are being silenced on certain platforms.

OP here, and thank you.

I really wish the thread hadn't been deleted, because all sorts of lies I being attributed to me. I complained that this large group of liberals were screeching profanity late at night - and shining all those flashlights into houses, which I didn't mention but is also disturbing. I reported, accurately, that they were yelling five words over and over again - one of them the F word - when children are trying to sleep.

Yeah, I'm sure Jeff is next on the committee subpoena list. ALex Jones will be confronting him in the Russell Office Building hallways next week.

Gimme a break.

That's an expression when an angry mob turns up, such as what we saw and continue to see as a result of my complaining about liberals possibly breaking a noise ordinance.

Yeah . . . not so much.

There was definitely a post that made much more expansive claims about the protesters. Another poster even replied saying that was a mouthful. Then a poster said something about demanding dead cops.

Two wrongs don't make a right. If you squash every dissenting opinion, don't complain if or when the same is done to you.
