Anyone have a discount code for the Gaylord National Harbor - "ICE" show coming soon?

Parking is $10 if you park in the Gaylord Parking area. They give you 3 hours. the ICE code worked and I saved $18. My son got in for free.

Hi all. I'm the OP here. We went on Sunday 11/28. We didn't wait in line at all (had 11:30am ticket times). It was fun but a little too cold for a 4 year old. She was scared to go down the slide herself and they don't allow parents to ride down with the kids. DH and I enjoyed it. I wouldn't park at the Gaylord for $10 b/c we parked in the regular hourly parking garage and it was $5.00 for 4 hours (we parked, did the show, then went to lunch). Dress very warm and take the parkas they offer b/c they will go over your coats and you'll need them.

We went on Sat. HUGE lines. We had 3 o'clock tickets and didn't get into the tent until 3:45pm. Heads up: inside the tent you still snake around for 40 minutes plus before you actually get to the ice sculptures. We all enjoyed the exhibit though. Wish I had know about the cheaper parking, we got suckered into paying $12.

Is that just for the room or a package with the tickets included?

If it is for the package with ICE tickets included, is that per person?

Saturday was sold out, but we went Sunday afternoon at 2 (using the 114ICE code), and there were no lines at all. We found the $5 parking first (St. George garage) because we didn't know where we were going, so we lucked out. Spent the difference on the hot chocolate at the gift shop. Beware. It is insanely hot. Make sure your kids don't try it until it has cooled substantially.

The Awakening sculpture was moved from Hains Point to the harbor, so that's also fun to visit while you're there. Lots of kids were climbing all over it.

does anyone have a good lunch recommendation around there (not the special santa/grinch brunches)?

we're going tomorrow and i'm a little concerned about how long it's going to take just to wait around...

does it help to bring your own snowpants?

There's a Potbelly Sandwich Works in the shopping area that is cheap. Or you can try one of the restaurants. We ate at the Rosa Mexicano. It was good. Snowpants might be a good idea for the exhibit, but slip them over the regular pants b/c once you get out they have the gift shop area nice and warm.

We at Cadilac Ranch, pretty close to ICE. Fairly small lunch menu, but with kids options. The place is pretty big, but the service was fast, and there was no wait for a table last Sunday around 1 p.m.

IT'S AWESOME! Like a winter wonderland coming alive! It's located in a parking lot 3-5min walk from the Gaylord hotel. There is also The Awakening to see in the harbor area. Lots of restaurants too. 114ICE is the promo code (we saved $28 for our group of 7) - to use when u order tickets online! We got there 4:15 sunday, got in line 4:40 for 5pm reservations. 20 minute wait to get in. 1/2 hr walk thru. Then we WALKED 3-5 min back to the Gaylord hotel to see the fountain/light/snow show at 6pm in the 19 story atrium. It's more expensive on the weekend fri-sun and more PACKED too...My friend waited 1.5 hours in the line to get in. There is also ice skating there (separate charge). Park in the garage across the street for $4 or so!

Oh, also, it's wheelchair/stroller accessible (except for the slides). My post is above - we had 3 grandparents with us (89, 83 and 88). It was a different fun magical family event!

we went last saturday afternoon and it was really not that crowded. don't know whether because it was around lunchtime, but the lines moved quickly and the only time we really had to wait was for the ice slides but even then... it was maybe a 10 minute wait, max.

the atrium inside the hotel is really nice, and the polar bear scavenger hunt is a lot of fun. the place makes a fantastic background for christmas photos!
