The anger level of Americans is just outrageous. WTF?! Is there simply anything in your life that bad that you need to scream and yell at workers? I have witnessed bad behavior around the Metro area, especially Bethesda. Totally entitled douchebags who abuse store and restaurant staff. Truly appalling!

So it is Ok for a group of grown men to enter a McDonald's become upset and spit on the workers, throw things in the stores, damage an electronic board? Police shouldn't be called because no one was killed or because an out of control guy might get shot by the police? How can you not see that a society can't function like this? It is poor, law-abiding minorities like the 15 year old worker trying to earn some money and stay in school who are the ones who suffer when police aren't called.

In theory, yes. But your post seems a little victim blaming because you are assuming the girl “engaged in confrontation” with him. That has not been established. He is a very bad guy. His rap sheet is extensive. She could’ve done everything right and still had this outcome. It’s very very sad that people like Johnny Ricks exist.

I’m not blaming the victim; 100% of the blame lies with the perpetrator, but the article says employees attempted to escort him outside the restaurant. Employers and parents should make it clear that it’s not a fast food employee’s responsibility to serve as a bouncer. This story can serve as a reminder to have that conversation with your teenager.

Might I remind YOU that there were likely other patrons there. The employees tried to deescalate so patrons wouldn’t get hurt.
