Agreed. Everything makes sense in hindsight.

I hope everyone gossiping on that awful long thread about affairs and strikes is ashamed of themselves.

This. So unfair to their kids.

Why not say what it is?

Colon? Uterine? Cervical? Ovarian? Bladder?

Hope it isn’t pancreatic. Although I know a few people who had early diagnoses that are living pretty well for now.

tbh because it may have spread some. It doesn't really matter in the grand scope of things

All those theories and none of us thought that of course, weight loss can be a sign of cancer. She’s just so young. Such a surprise.

Explains Will’s distressed look since both his dad and wife were diagnosed at the same time. I can’t imagine.

So many possibilities. Cervical is unlikely, as it’s usually caught early with standard screenings. I think colon or ovarian is more likely, and pancreatic would be the worst possibility.

I doubt she went in for a routine removal of her pancreas.

Obviously.

But if they open you up, they eyeball things.

I am stunned and tearing up. She looks painfully thin. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

No. I hope that the tabloids and public respect her right to some privacy. This is hard enough without the media frenzy.

She's told us all we need to know - hope everyone leaves her alone now

Indeed. Her poor kids. Very frightening for them all. She’s very young.

They waited to announce publicly because they wanted to wait to tell the kids.

I was wondering if it was this all along. Wishing only good things for her. Never mind all those idiots making up ridiculous scenarios.

I think the speculation re: type is appropriate. Wish it wasn't speculation. There are huge differences in type/staging for treatment and survival.

+1 there was even talk of domestic violence, divorce, and a facelift. Sick.

Why? This is a single forum in a different country. We weren’t on TV or magazines with it. No one in the royal family was reading that thread.

Colon is the most likely typically, but with them not suspecting cancer initially and it not being apparent until post-operative tests, I actually think another form of cancer is more likely.

Endometriosis can cause digestive symptoms so could be endometrial cancer that was caught at a very early stage after a biopsy.
