There is exactly zero evidence that there are marriage troubles. I don't understand the certainty some of these posters have about that.

My honest guess is she had some sort of surgery and issue that requires a temporary colostomy bag, which is why she is out of pocket for so long.

That said, William is clearly stressed out. He has lost weight. I can imagine he is dealing with a lot right now.

I think it's something serious. I think it would have to be for him to bail on that funeral at the last minute. I truly hope she is ok.

I think mental health (Anorexia, self harm, etc.) are on the table but I think in no world would Kate ever, ever divorce willingly. She is in it to win it and would probably do unspeakable things to keep her position, but I don't think she would ever divorce him. If he brought it up? Hm, maybe. I don't really see that either though no matter how toxic the marriage.
