I'm living abroad in the UK and I hate it.

Funny because I lived in the UK for a year and I found the British were actually the worst to Americans. In France, I never felt "hated on" for being American (lived there too and speak the language) but in the UK..wow. I was shocked at how often they would put me down (in the typical British, not mean but "taking the piss") for being a Yank.

You must not be familiar with how people are in some parts of China. They will let someone (a fellow countryman) die in the street before thinking about helping them. Sometimes it's just in the culture to not help.
