Are you a student or staff at a HS?

dp.. ^PP must be an MCPS admin

teachers, students see it.

That's odd since I'm staff, and I just don't see it either. Sure, there are problems, but nothing like what is being portrayed here.

Staff of what, and what school?

Is the SMOB making stuff up?

The superintendent was recently fired and we have a interim superintendent. Obviously staff actions under the old superintendent are unsatisfactory.

Is the interim superintendent making changes, or stalling until a permanent superintendent is installed?

We recently had an anti-racist audit. That provided data to inform debate.

Is there an anti-drug / anti-violence audit?

Board should pass a resolution explicitly protecting students who record and submit audio/video/witness evidence of these bad behaviors, and provide receipts for validating statistics about what students are reporting.

The fear mongering is insane.

MCPS has problems, we all know this, but it is not as bad as people are projecting.

However, the Right Wing gas lighters are on a roll and will continue for quite a while. Be vigilant against their lies.

Do your own research. Maryland case search is fascinating, same with court reporter you can download any legal case against the school system. Read them they are enlightening to say the least.

We are being attacked by the Religious Right they are coming for our schools. They have planned this for a very long time and are well organized.

Their buzz words are so you think they have your best interest at heart they do not.

For example, Moms4Liberty look at their founders, look at their scandal in Florida and other places, look at the hypocrisy coming from them. They are nothing but a hateful organization that will dumb down our schools get us to vouchers and bring Christian Nationalism into the curriculum.

Nothing ever happens until it happens to you.

Students complain of inadequate supervision.

Supervisors say they are rent seeing anything.

That's what students are complaining about!

If wanting a school without drugs and weapons and violence makes me a RWNJ, I'm a RWNJ.

That was a huge waste of money. Do we really need an audit and waste more money to know that vaping is out of control; bathrooms are locked; violence is up?

Are the students and teachers lying?

How can administrators fix a problem if all they have is a pile of rumors? They have to actually go find what is happening where, and find out if any mitigation attempts are changing what's happening. This is the basic job responsibility of organizational administration.

Where are you that you don't see any issues?

MCPS head in the sand is the big issue here. You are nothing but an MCPS apologist.

I really don't care about Moms4liberty. I don't care about trans bathroom rules; lgbtq books.. those things don't bother me. What bothers me is the bathrooms being locked such that kids are having a hard time finding a bathroom to use. My kid runs home from the bus stop, and I rushes to the bathroom when they get home.

I really want you and the rest of the MCPS admin to work in a building where the majority of bathrooms are locked, and you and 1000+ other adults have to try to find a bathroom to use by going onto your phone with bad wifi, and opening up a spreadsheet to find an open bathroom. Then tell me you think there is no problem.

They are welcome to go to RM unannounced and walk the halls and check the bathrooms. They don't need to pay an expensive consultant to see that the bathrooms are locked.

Are they too busy sitting in their cushy offices with access to unlocked bathrooms? Why don't they go walk the halls once in a while?

bathrooms are locked even in MS.
If you see something say something crap ain't working for ya, CO communications!

Why hasn't anyone filed a suit already?

We need more educators to push back and fight MCPS and their spin machine. But too many are afraid.

Go to the news or file a lawsuit. That's what MCPS listens to.
