Don't like Ann curry as cohost

So I didn't think I'd like Meredith viera and ended up liking her more than Katie couric on the today show but have never loved Ann. She tries too hard, isn't believable or sincere sounding and just annoys and now she has the cohost job. I know I can change the channel but she just bugs.

I think she's generally okay but there is something about her that makes it seem like she is trying too hard to make you believe she is very sincere and caring. And that makes me feel like she is a fake. I'd rather you be yourself and be an a**hole, like Matt Lauer.

I like ann curry's wardrobe, and her adventurous spirit. She is often the one doing cool things (zipline, other adventures.) I think she is beautiful, too. As for being a host, I think she is fine.

She seems like she is trying to hard to be so sweet and kind, it comes off as fake. The constant hugging she does is also very annoying.

Yes, I agree. They should have leap frogged over Ann and made Natalie Morales the co-host.

I'd bet it is a temporary gig for her as Matt is leaving and I'd bet they'll start fresh with 2 new hosts (wishful thinking).
Her promotion to cohosh was so downplayed compared to others - it just seems temporary.

I can't stand the way she dresses and her sugary sweetness is nauseating!

Ann Curry was once voted the dumbest woman on TV. I can't stand her and her phony sympathy voice. The Today show is now so bad that it should be taken off the air.

Agree with the Ann haters. Maybe I just Meredith in the morning. She seemed genuine, not airbrushed, intelligent and fun. Ann doesn't seem like any of those things. Although I was watching ABC this am and it is worse than Today.

Hated Meredith. Dull, dull, dull. Ann Curry has always been the hardest working person on that show. And whatever her personality, I believe she is that serious. I think they've been grooming Natalie, although I was also a Campbell Brown fan but I think the other women had the knives out for her.
