And their website says they're having an open house this weekend and they're enrolling new campers. Families need to be aware of this.

It makes me very sad as my DD who is about to graduate from college spent many happy summers at Camp Rim Rock. I hope everyone gets their $$ back.

What does this mean for camp this summer? Could the new owners cancel?

I mean, they certainly think they're running this summer but I'm not convinced. The property is for sale in two separate subjects so I think it's likely they'll lose a bunch of their land even if they don't shut down entirely. I also don't think it's great news that the auction site is calling it the former Camp Rim Rock. DD was on the fence about going back this year and ultimately decied not to. She still has friends who go so I hope for their sake it runs, but I'm very grateful we made other plans.

Any updates from the Open House this weekend?

The auction was supposed to be today, but says it is postponed indefinitely. I'm guessing they made a deal?

Covid was a disaster for so many businesses. I hope they can get it together again.

They are 100% still alive and well. Their Open House was wonderful. Pick up the phone and call them to see for yourselves.

We are not for sale.
We are open and operating.

Hundreds of Girl Scouts have been here over the last few weekends.
Hundreds more will be here before our Opening Day on June 16th.
We are fully staffed and ready to go.
The anonymous comments relate to our 2020 COVID-19 summer. We were open and operating but were significantly impacted financially by families understandably not sending their daughters to camp in 2020. We still ran a safe and fun program in 2020. We had no COVID cases as a result of the safety measures that were in place.
We have had wonderful summers in 2021, 2022, and 2023, and we are looking forward to another great one this year, our 73rd.

We will run our summer as we always have-fun and safe with a great group of campers many of whom are second generation.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us directly at 703-665-0009.
We are happy to answer any questions and address any concerns.
You can also email me at joe@camprimrock.com.

We are planning 2024 to be our best summer ever!

Open House was great!
Lots of new families came to visit for the first.
We even had campers from last year stop by to say hello or to bring a friend to see camp.

We are still happy to give tours.
