Well this article is a little concerning. The CDC never went to the farm that the farm worker was employed at. They also did not manage to follow-up with the farm worker’s contacts. I get that the farm worker was resistant to giving information, but they should have pressed harder.

What did you expect? Why would the farm or the farm worker cooperate? The CDC wasn't going to reimburse them for lost income.

This must be some kind of joke. Tens of billions to support wars - but well under 1 billion to help contain a potentially new pandemic. Drop in the bucket (and the $ on vaccine development would surely be useful even if H5N1 were to fizzle out). Hahahaha, good one.
