Politics aside, do you even LIKE Chic Fil A?

My fervent hope is that the people who believe in their CEO's statements show their support by eating there daily. Really I do.

It's great for fast food

Yes, it's delicious.
And I will continue to patronize them even more now because I support the owner's right to his opinion, and disagree with any politician or other person who thinks it is acceptable to bully businesses or others on account of not being liberal enough. Period!

Uh yeah.....it's delicious. Plus the restaurants are clean and well managed. I support the company because last I looked, it's a free country with free speech. Which means no one should be persecuted for speaking their mind.

politics aside, the stores seem to get really good local ratings on yelp.com

No. got me very sick when I was pregnant

Very popular where I am. Went there about a year ago for the first time and was shocked that they only serve chicken - no beef or fish, just chicken.

Lots of raves here. What do you order? Like I said previously, I've been a few times and don't understand the hype.

Not that any fast food is great, but it's the best of all options. Their lemonade is delicious. I also like the carrot and raisin salad. And of course, the standard chick-fil-a sandwiches.

I've never eaten there, and rarely eat at any fast food joints. We mostly do organic, homegrown, homemade, etc. etc. However, I am so impressed with the CEOs statements, beliefs, and willingness to stand up for what he believes, I'm thinking of taking my kids there for dinner today.

can't take the family. they use peanut oil. It is possible that refined peanut oil won't cause a reaction, but I can't take the chance. Shame on me if their quality control isn't effective and I have to go to the ER.

For fast food, it's delicious. I live in DC and don't have a car, but whenever I visited my sister who used to live in Frederick we would go there with the kids. The one there was noticeably cleaner than other fast food places and the chicken seems much higher quality than what you'd get at McD's or BK (yuck).

BTW I think this whole controversy is ridiculous. If you don't like the CEO's philosophy don't go there. Just like if you don't like the Domino founder's anti-choice stance, don't eat the pizza. But the owner/founder has a right to his/her opinion. Besides, Chick Fil A wasn't against serving gay people. He'd sell his chicken to anyone. How would you even do that, anyway?

I don't eat there because they are cruel to the animals! My family rarely eats meat. When we do, it is cruelty-free.

Milkshakes are stupendous. I cried when they discontinued the lemon pie. Their grilled chicken on whole grain is quite tasty, and they have plenty of healthy options on the menu. Always polite, friendly, cheerful service, and everyone who works there genuinely seems to be having fun. Clean playgrounds. Our family's happy place, if we must do fast food or if I'm taking a kid out for a special treat.

Oh, and their breakfast biscuits are worth the extra time on the elliptical.

Guess where we are headed for dessert tonight?

Yes, I do like their chicken sandwiches the best. But I'm not going back there now, and my body will be the better off for it.
