Will America vote for Kamala Harris in 2024? This is the real question.

What, if anything, would Harris change?

Same as if Sarah Palin became POTUS. Massive levels of incompetence and hubris, probably resulting in a collection of disasters at home and abroad.

I think she’d continue to take orders from the same source Joe currently does.
The world sees he’s too feeble to make any decisions without precise direction. “Here, Joe, sit down and sign here. Now have a nice time at the beach!” WH workers hate tripping over him when he’s shuffling about the halls.

However, I don't think Harris is popular enough. I think that if Biden dropped out, Whitmer would be the primary contender to take the Democratic nomination and beat Nikki Haley (or Ron DeSantis). Other than Andy Beshear (who continues to claim he won't run), I think Whitmer is the strongest contender after Biden and Trump.

Is it that whitmer is a white woman. That’s the only reason she would be a contender over harris.

Or it could be the fact that Harris is an idiot.

You offered no serious criticism. You just said she’s an idiot, when she is more intelligent and more accomplished and more qualified than any of the Republican Presidential candidates who offer nothing but idiotic nonsense, ridiculous lies, and imaginary culture war grievances. With all of your delusional clowns in the House, Senate, and Red State Governors, Republicans can’t call anyone an idiot, yet it is the only thing you ever say about Black women, no matter how accomplished they are.

You can't be serious. Either you go through life with blinders and earplugs on or you are just seriously not very bright. Here are some of the greatest hits from the woman you call "more intelligent, accomplished, and qualified" blah blah blah. Nikki Haley would like a word.

“So, Ukraine is a country in Europe.”

“It exists next to another country called Russia,” she continued. “Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So, basically, that’s wrong, and it goes against everything that we stand for.”
***

“You know, every election cycle we talk about this is the most election of our lifetime,” Harris said, without correcting herself.

“Lawrence, this one is, this one is,” she told the host.

“We are literally talking about people who are attempting to divide our country in the most crude, frankly, and profound way,” she said. “We are talking about those who are intent and purposeful to, to attack fundamental freedoms.”

She continued: “The freedom to be free from fear of violence and hate … the freedom to just … be. The freedom to just be.”
***

“I have been fortunate and blessed during the course of being vice president to have many situations where it becomes too clear me that there are people … of every age and gender, by the way, who see something about being the first that lets them know they don’t need to be, um, limited by other people’s limited, um, understanding of who can do what,” she rambled.
***

She said, "We invested an additional $12 billion into community banks, because we know community banks are in the community, and understand the needs and desires of that community as well as the talent and capacity of community."
***

Harris stated, "We also recognize just as it has been in the United States, for Jamaica, one of the issues that has been presented as an issue that is economic in the way of its impact has been the pandemic."

"So to that end, we are announcing today also that we will assist Jamaica in COVID recovery by assisting in terms of the recovery efforts in Jamaica that have been essential to, I believe, what is necessary to strengthen not only the issue of public health but also the economy."
***

"It’s time for us to do what we have been doing, and that time is every day."
***

"Every day it is time for us to agree that there are things and tools that are available to us to slow this thing down. And so right now we know we still have a number of people that, that is in the millions of Americans who have not been vaccinated, and could be vaccinated, and we are urging them to get vaccinated because it will save their life," Harris said.
***

"I think that, to be very honest with you, I do believe that we should have rightly believed, but we certainly believe that certain issues are just settled. Certain issues are just settled."
***

"We've got to take this stuff seriously, as seriously as you are because you have been forced to take this seriously."

This is actually hilarious. It’s too bad SNL won’t skewer Dems bc she provides great fodder.

Yes, I think some Jews voted for Gore bc of Lieberman, Jews who might have voted for Bush. It’s hard to remember now but there really was the that much difference between Bush and Gore in 2000.

No. If she is the nominee she will lose to Turnip. Swing voters will see her as yet another identity politics creature anointed by the Democratic party instead of a honest primary.

Seems like getting to the root of the migrant problem is a good way to address the issue

Now, if Russia would just stop destablizing these countries....

Harris is much more qualified than Trump or any other potential Republican nominee, who are all do-nothings and no-nothings.

Democrats have won 3 of the past 6 Presidential elections, the 3 in which the ticket included a Black Senator/former Senator and Joe Biden. Each time many White pundits were convinced that the Black Senator was unqualified and there is no way they could win, yet the ticket won due to higher turnout among young voters and minority voters.

You cannot be serious to compare Harris to Obama? She is an absolute moron. A true case of real life imitating art (see Veep for proof). I actually wonder if she has a substance abuse problem the way she rambles (see list of some of her greatest hits above). And yes, in this case considering Joe’s physical and mental condition, I would most definitely consider who the VP is.

Harris is not any dumber or potentially incompetent than a host of Republican VPs. Think Dan Quayle or Sarah Palin. But I don't think she'll be the 2024 nominee. Of course, if Trump wins it won't matter because the Trump Party (it's really no longer the GOP) will spend 4 years learning from authoritarians around the world on how to conduct sham elections and then we will be stuck with president Ivanka (2028-2036).
