Happily |
Whereas Harris as AG for California, actually has executive experience. |
Harris is terrible. Full stop. |
You keep claiming this, but why? It is just your opinion. Others have a different opinion. She is a woman. A woman of color. She has more experience than Obama or Trump. Bush was a governor. Biden a senator and Vice President. I mean, you may not agree with her policies (if you can even articulate any) but just saying "she is terrible" really doesn't move the ball on discourse. |
All she has to do is appoint a functional cabinet and country will run fine. President isn’t doing that much besides making sure that quality people are heading all the important departments. She is better than the guy selling bible for $60 bucks a piece. I say this as someone who doesn’t “like” Kamala Harris much. |
Yes, at least she's not crazy. |
Wasn’t she a side chick for Willie Brown the black former mayor of San Fran while his wife was sick? She slept her way to the top.
Bad character |
What a gal.
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2019/01/27/willie-brown-kamala-harris-san-francisco-chronicle-letter/2695143002/ Although Brown supported Harris in her successful 2003 run for San Francisco district attorney, she tried to distance herself from him in that race, telling SF Weekly that Brown – whose career was dogged by corruption allegations – was an "albatross hanging around my neck." "His career is over; I will be alive and kicking for the next 40 years. I do not owe him a thing," she told SF Weekly, vowing, "If there is corruption, it will be prosecuted." Among the issues that followed Harris from her time with Brown was the allegation of cronyism in his appointment of her to two wel-paying posts. |
DP. What, exactly, do the bolded have to do with anything? Who cares if she's a WOC? I'm a WOC. That doesn't mean I automatically vote for other WOC. I couldn't care less what a candidate's race or gender is. Why do you? |
I’m also a WOC.
Kamala has set us back decades. |
Kamala Harris 2028! |
DP but it's really trendy to judge people according to race, gender, etc. For people who embrace this trend, no further analysis is warranted. Just, is this person the preferred race, sex, etc? Done. Honestly, I am sometimes jealous of these people. You don't have to read or think, just look at them and instantly categorize, with total confidence. |
Like anything else in politics, what is/was a worthy consideration to an extent (race/sex/inclusion) gets taken up as the issue of sole importance to many until we reach peak absurdity, and then we're on to the next thing. |
Would love to. But.... I think Joe will last.
So funny watching white guys lose their crap over the possibility of a black female as the president. |
She's not black. She's brown (Indian). |
