Seriously, I walk around the neighborhood, Lafayette Park, etc. and there are no good looking men. Is this neighborhood a magnet for unattractive men? |
As if the men in Columbia Heights are gorgeous. |
So agree! It is really kind of Crunchville. Lots of pale men, wearing Tevas or Keens, cargos, etc. |
You need a more working-class neighborhood.
Men who work with their hands (and bodies) just stay in better shape. How many men in Chevy Chase do landscaping or hang drywall for a living? Try Rockville. |
Yes, yes, yes! |
Would love to hear what they think of the local women ... ! BTW - nothing wrong with pale. I hope my pale son never hears this kind of thing ... |
Sorry but pale legs on a man is just not that attractive. |
Neither is skin cancer. And I'd be really put off by a guy who uses fake tan. So I hope, for my son's sake, that society changes it's narrow views by the time he's looking for a mate!! |
Ha! This is funny. DH and I often wonder where the tattooed people are. And the punk rockers. If you see any, let us know so we can stalk, uh, I mean befriend, them. |
The women are not all that-
Especially the ones who think they are attractive. I would say 2 out of 10 women would rate higher than 8 out of 10 on the scale. Pale skin has nothing to do with it, being in shape and confident gets a lot of points- sorry wearing work out clothes does not mean your in shape. If you look good all made up and don't look good without make up and crappy clothes on, you are not attractive- maybe a great personality - If your husband ever says wow you look great, realize you look like crap the rest of the time and do something about it. The who shoe thing comes down to calf muscles and ankles. Consider wearing boots if you don't have nice ones. Flame on |
Okay, so most are not a 9 or 10, but I'd just like to see some 6s or 7s. Seriously... |
I notice a lot (not all) of houses around Lafayette are not kept well - lawns overgrown, paint peeling. I guess it is an overall way of life there. |
These men never do any kind of yard work, because it might hurt. If the gardeners didn't show up this week, oh well. |
This thread begs the question "where do the good looking men live?" |
Chevy Chase, MD, Spring Valley, Georgetown. |
