Can anyone recommend any that are easy to hide?
Thanks! |
Don’t hire people you don’t trust. If you do trust them tell them they are On camera. Don’t lie to them |
Wow. I’d be pissed if I found out you were doing this.
If you don’t trust your childcare person change it. If you are a paranoid person in general stay home and don’t have someone else watch them, |
Hire someone with lots of experience and excellent references, OP. Do not nanny cam. |
Check with your state if you need to disclose cameras |
Use ring cams. Disclose to anyone who works in your home. Anything else should be criminal. |
+1 Filming people without their consent is illegal in some states. |
I work with kids in a non nanny position. Parents are sometimes in the room, eventually they need to leave to continue progress. Some opt to video tape sessions. Sometimes in the open with a video camera on you the whole time. Sometimes they move to hidden cameras. They always tell me. I have zero problems with this and it’s useful for parents to watch sessions and ask questions after. I would quit immediately if this videotaped me without telling me. |
Not OP, but I think discret cameras are worth the investment. |
Wow this is so wrong. |
And I think suing you would be a good use of my time. |
You should send your kid to a daycare.
Then you can see your kid live-streamed each and every day. The best part is you don’t have to be a horrible person to do it. |
Even if I put cameras that are visible? |
It’s interesting how people get very uncomfortable working in a house where there are security cameras.

You have to tell the nanny that you have cameras. Don’t be sneaky. Treat them with respect. |
