(Very) Discreet Nanny Cams

Anonymous
A lot of people just normally have cameras in their houses these days. If a nanny is in camera it will hardly feel like spying. Just tell the nanny, it’s no big deal. It’s only a big deal if you hide it. That’s wrong in so many ways.

Yeah. I have seen dads poking their eyes to the nannies body

If you don’t trust your childcare person change it. If you are a paranoid person in general stay home and don’t have someone else watch them,

I agree.

And I think suing you would be a good use of my time.

Even if I put cameras that are visible?

Yes! It shows mistrust and is rude.

Do you want to be videootaped 24/7 and not know for sure who is watching? It can cause anxiety.

Not just hack them, record your wife, kids, anytime

Anonymous wrote:Things can sometimes get weird even if a trusted nanny. We had one for awhile who I thought was great and trusted completely. Then one day I had a dad stop me at the neighborhood playground and say “I wanted to let you know I think your son (3) is a really great kid. Your nanny can be hard on him sometime, but he seems really great to me.” Obviously I was alarmed - did he mean she was stricter on behavior than he may be but still reasonable and handle calmly? Or angrily snapping at him? Or berating him? The said it as I was leaving with my kids so I couldn’t follow up with him to understand better.

The nanny knew we had cameras (contract said we could and each kids room had a nannit monitor so that’s very obvious). I briefly set up one in the common playroom so I could get a better sense of how she was treating him when alone so that I could address appropriately with her if needed. I’m not going to throw away a great nanny over a random virtual strangers comment, but I did need to verify that what I thought happened when I wasn’t around is what was actually happening

You sound paranoid.

I agree. I did what people suggested and hired an experienced seemingly kind woman who abused my kids. I was suspicious pretty quickly because of things I saw. She ignored them and stuck them in activity seats for hours. They screamed and cried and she dragged one out of his seat roughly because she couldn't hear the person she was on the phone with.

I agree. Not with cameras but I caught a bad nanny feeding my baby and another baby with the same spoon. Nasty b. Fired on the spot.

Like you wouldn't feed your baby from the same spoon that fell ... Bunch of hypocrites

Why was there another baby at your house?

Pedos, hackers can look and record videos through your kid's cameras

You realize most public buildings, many private buildings - restaurants, stores, etc. have cameras.

But they're watching tons of other people, not just 1 person

No it isn't. I hired a nanny with lots of experience and good references who abused my children. There were no signs.

You sound stupid. Don't play with your child's safety.
