KENNEDY KRIEGER INSTITUTE TO HOST FIRST VIRTUAL ROAR FOR KIDS FUNDRAISER

by admin last modified Apr 08, 2020 11:08 PM
As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak and to keep the community safe, Kennedy Krieger Institute’s 2020 ROAR for Kids fundraiser is going virtual. Families, friends and supporters can still ROAR louder than ever to raise awareness and funds for research and programs that help kids at the Institute. On Saturday, April 25, 2020, Kennedy Krieger is encouraging individuals to participate virtually around their yard, or throughout their home. While the event will no longer be in-person at Oregon Ridge Park, individuals can still register to be a virtual racer and make a difference through fundraising, receive a 2020 ROAR for Kids t-shirt, and be active on event day. Participants and teams can register online and build personal fundraising pages—all in support of the Kennedy Krieger program of their choice. Individuals can also choose to support the Institute as a whole by selecting “General Institute Support.” Since 2005, this event has raised over $3 million for Kennedy Krieger Institute. All proceeds from the event will help raise much-needed funds for research and programs to help kids at Kennedy Krieger. For more information about ROAR for Kids, or to register as a virtual racer, visit ROARforKids.KennedyKrieger.org.
