DESCRIPTION:As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak and to keep the commu
 nity safe\, Kennedy Krieger Institute’s 2020 ROAR for Kids fundraise
 r is going virtual. Families\, friends and supporters can still ROAR l
 ouder than ever to raise awareness and funds for research and programs
  that help kids at the Institute.  \n\n \n\nOn Saturday\, April 25\, 2
 020\, Kennedy Krieger is encouraging individuals to participate virtua
 lly around their yard\, or throughout their home. While the event will
  no longer be in-person at Oregon Ridge Park\, individuals can still r
 egister to be a virtual racer and make a difference through fundraisin
 g\, receive a 2020 ROAR for Kids t-shirt\, and be active on event day.
   \n\n \n\nParticipants and teams can register online and build person
 al fundraising pages—all in support of the Kennedy Krieger program o
 f their choice. Individuals can also choose to support the Institute a
 s a whole by selecting “General Institute Support.”  \n\n \n\nSinc
 e 2005\, this event has raised over $3 million for Kennedy Krieger Ins
 titute. All proceeds from the event will help raise much-needed funds 
 for research and programs to help kids at Kennedy Krieger. For more in
