Join The Alden and master artist Kofi Dennis at the Old Firehouse for an introductory to djembe drumming skills and improvisation. Included in this class is a chance to put your new skills to the test playing as a group in a community drum circle. This class is designed for children age eight and older and we recommended that families participate together. 8+ years 1 lesson @ 1 hr, 30 mins, $15/$10 for MCC tax district residents. $7 each additional person/$5 MCC district residents. Fee includes admission and drum rental for the event.

Selections will appeal to both young and adult audiences; noted age recommendations can assist parents in selecting the most emotionally and intellectually stimulating films for their children. Feature films are in English, unless otherwise noted. All films will be shown in the East Building Auditorium, which seats 500 people. Food and drink are not permitted. Seating is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and there is no advance registration. Groups are welcome. All NGA public programs are free of charge.
