Fairfax County Adult Continuing education in partnership with Let Mommy Sleep Newborn Care offers this 1-day, evidence based education for caregivers and parents caring for newborns age 0-3 months, including: diapering, basic breastfeeding, swaddling, postpartum care of parents, SIDS safety and more. The certificate class is for Nannies, Home Health Aides, LPN's and CNA's working privately or with home care agencies. Students receive certificate of completion from Fairfax County upon successful completion of this class.​ This is the only class of it's kind recognized with a county certificate. Our parking lot will be filled with vehicles of every kind for children to explore, including Montgomery County construction trucks, a fire engine, rescue vehicles, a school bus, Metro bus, and more. We will also have an amazing Silent Auction featuring items from donors that include summer camps, classes, and activities.
