Perfect for the two-year-old and parent who love learning and exploring together! Our Twos Travelers workshops offer a variety of hands-on experiences that introduce young children to concepts in engaging ways. Each class includes playful activities that are intentionally chosen to support your child’s development. Our learning extends beyond the classroom and into the museum where child and parent are encouraged to wonder and explore together.

Itsy Bitsy Spider

Museum Visit: National Gallery of Art
Did you know there are about 40,000 types of spiders in the world?! We’ll take a look at the vast variety among the species, and what traits they all have in common. Then we’ll try out being a spider and spin our own web.

Ages: 24 – 36 months
Time: 10:15- 11:45 am

Ticket: One Caretaker + One Child
(one additional caretaker is welcome to join for the museum portion of the class)
Location: All classes begin at the National Museum of Natural History, Constitution Avenue Lobby and conclude at the museum listed in the course description.
