After three years of planning and renovating, Stead Park Field will be reopened to the public on Saturday, November 15. It features a jogging track, splash park, performance stage, seating, trees and an additional entrance from 17th Street. Celebrate at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with Mayor Vincent. C. Gray, followed by a Family Fun Field Day, 11:30 am-1:30 pm, featuring games, face painting, refreshments, live entertainment, crafts and more!

Chanukah is coming and with it, eight nights of family fun! Join PJ Library, the Washington DCJCC, the Jewish Primary Day School, the Jewish Food Experience, the Jewish Social Service Agency (JSSA) and the interfaith program, Love and Religion, for hands-on Chanukah activities including crafts, cooking, singing, candle lighting, latkes, a mitzvah (good deed) project and take-home goodies.

Norwood’s last OPEN HOUSE of the year is THIS SATURDAY! We are excited to share our wonderful school with prospective families through conversations with teachers, students, parents, and administrators, as well as through student-led tours. We also look forward to offering prospective kindergarten and first grade parents the opportunity to observe their child in a mini-class taught by Norwood’s amazing teachers through our unique Saturday Sampler program. The Saturday Sampler starts just prior to the Open House at 12:30pm and ends at 1:30pm.
