Chanukah is coming and with it, eight nights of family fun! Join PJ Library, the Washington DCJCC, the Jewish Food Experience, the Washington DCJCC, the Jewish Social Service Agency (JSSA) and the interfaith program, Love and Religion, for hands-on Chanukah activities including:
- arts and crafts to decorate your home
- a delicious cooking project
- stories and singing
- learning or practicing the blessings over the candles in the Chanukah menorah
- gaining new ideas for hosting an easy Chanukah party for your family and friends
- a mitzvah (good deed) project with JSSA
It’s a perfect morning for Jewish and interfaith families with children ages 3 and older. Of course, there will be latkes to eat, plus lots of take-home information and recipes to make your Chanukah even happier. Registration fee covers all food, supplies and activities.
