Hello,
My name is Ablavi. I have been taking care of babies for more than 20 years. I do everything from feeding, changing, napping, walks, reading (French & English), activities, and getting them ready for bed (depending on the time of the schedule ). I adore all children.
I take care of every child as if they were my own. I will provide a loving and safe environment. I HAVE EXPERIENCE CARING FOR NEWBORNS, TODDLERS, AND MORE THAN ONE CHILD. I have my CPR and First Aid certificate and am up to date with all vaccines. I am available to start beginning of September 2025.
Feel free to contact me at

I am posting on behalf of our former nanny, Rudy. She recently lost her position after one of the parents of her current family lost their job and decided to stay home, so she is available immediately.

Rudy stepped in when our au pair's visa was delayed. Rudy was reliable and it was clear from the moment she met our baby, that she absolutely LOVES children. I worked from home and it was so comforting to hear her singing and talking to the baby all day and especially his laughter. She also does the baby's laundry, prepares his meals, and cleans up after.

Rudy holds a green card, so she is legally authorized to work in the United States. She needs a position that will allow her to pay into her social security. She does not drive so she needs to work at a home that is accessible via public transport (bus or metro). She is fluent in Spanish and understands most English, but only speaks very basic English.

Rudy has built her career around children. She was a professional music teacher in Bolivia for over 15 years and has been a nanny in the United States for over 15 years. I also spoke to three of her references and all had positive experience some working with Rudy for years. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me as well.

Hello, Our wonderful nanny/house manager, Reem, will be available starting in late August. She has been a wonderful help for our busy 2 career family, helping us care for our two girls 11 and 7, complete household tasks, and dog care.

Reem is a confident driver, taking our girls to and from school and activities, planning fun outings on days when school is closed, and running errands for me when the girls are at school. In addition, she helps with any meal preparation I ask and washes and folds our laundry twice a week.

She has been incredibly patient and receptive with our younger daughter who struggles with sensory processing challenges.

You can contact Reem directly at reemaaraya@gmail or my at nannyforfoxes@gmail.

Hi!

Our family is looking for additional help from 5PM to 8PM during the week starting in September. We have childcare from 8-5 but need an extra set of hands to help out with the kids in the evenings. Most nights, one or both parents will be there so you will just be assisting in the dinner and bedtime routine. Our children are 4 months (will be 6 months when care would begin) and 2 years old.

Please contact me if you are interested and want to learn more about the position.

Our incredible nanny will be available in September / October 2025, as our youngest is heading to preschool.

Mimi has been working for our family for 7 years, caring for our 3-year-old daughter and her older brother since they were both infants. We are heartbroken to say goodbye to her, and we want to help her find a wonderful new family.

Mimi is extraordinarily loving, warm, patient, and attentive. She is originally from Ethiopia but has been in the US for over 25 years and is a US Citizen. She has been a tremendous help during every stage of our children's development, from starting solids to potty-training and learning shapes and letters.

Mimi speaks fluent English as well as Amharic and has been nannying for over 20 years. She has a car, is willing to drive the kids, and is a careful driver. She is incredibly clean and will tidy up your house while the kids nap.

Mimi is looking for a nanny share, or a single family willing to pay a nanny share rate. She lives in Silver Spring and can travel within the local area. She is ideally looking for a full-time position, but could be open to part-time positions.
Mimi is willing to work long hours during the week, is available for weekend babysitting, and needs to work on the books.

Mimi has a peaceful energy that works wonders with infants and toddlers, and takes so much joy in caring for them while ensuring that safety is a priority. We always have peace of mind knowing that our children are in Mimi's care.

Please contact me at suzy.khimm@gmail.com for Mimi’s contact information, and I’m happy to answer any questions. She has glowing references from us and other local families that she would be happy to provide.
