The reimbursement rate is currently $.54 per mile but changes every year. Twins and a toddler is a massive responsibility and a hell of a lot of work. We pay our nanny $27 an hour for one newborn/ now toddler. But she is educated and experienced and worth her weight in gold!

PP sounds like she is the "educated and experienced" nanny. Two babies and a toddler is a lot to handle, so you do need a particularly good and experienced nanny. It also depends on how many hours you offer. I think for 50 hours, you could probably get someone who could handle it for between $20-27 am hour, with $20 being the bare minimum. You'd probably have to really do more like at least $22-23. |
