You're not a nanny, you're an educator. Seek out other educators vs. nannies and you'd be fine.

Our previous nanny had years of childcare experience when we hired her, but no HS diploma. While working for us she got her GED and started community college. After a few years she decided to stop working as a nanny and focus on college so she's now most of the way through earning her BS in Computer Engineering.

Lacking an extensive education != lacking intelligence.
