this makes me mad. I see so many parents or caregivers on the metro ignoring the kid. If you don't get that kids need attention and interaction, then what the heck are you in the job for? It's the kid's fault you have limited options. Sounds like you're just taking a paycheck and resenting the kid.

Kids do not always need to be the center of attention. What you see as someone ignoring a kid may just be them needing the child to be quiet for at least 5 minutes so they can think. This thread is old but even still many were making comments like this was about a 3 year old and not a freaking 7 year old. 7 year old should know better than acting up while a grown up is talking to another, and especially not to touch others and tickle adults randomly. This child needs more attention from her PARENTS and she may have even had adhd. But mostly lack of attention from the parents and the annoyance falls on caregivers.
