We have a nanny with serious GI issues, and uses the toilet quite frequently (3-4x a hour) and at times leaves the bathroom a stinking mess!
How should I approach the excessive bathroom issue and the over-all health of the bathroom |

How dare you? Its sad we can't talk about certain issues. |
Does she leave the house with your child? How long has she been with you? Is this a new issue? |
1. She leaves the 5 month old baby in the crib 2. She has starting having medical issues for a while now, i assume this is related to her age. I don't want to seem like a tyrant and limit her bathroom breaks, but lets be honest.... i pay someone to monitor my child, and being gone for 3-10 minutes can be quite dangerious. |
How do you know how frequently she is using he bathroom? |
I monitor her via camera. |
Well she can’t help it so either let her handle her business or find another nanny. |
How are you getting your job done, if you are constantly viewing the nanny cam? |
Don’t you know...every family that has cameras are super important at their job and don’t have to actually work. They get nannies so they can feel even more important and watch their every move. |
Eek!! You are not supposed to have cameras installed in the bathroom! This is not only a huge invasion of privacy but it also is illegal in all fifty states. ![]() |
OMG, you are beyond pathetic! I hope you boss monitors your bathroom trips. |
I hope she reads this and sues you for everything you have. |
OP doesn’t have a camera in the bathroom. She justifiably monitors a new nanny with her baby. Can’t really sue for that... Oy!
OP, as PP said. Let her handle her business or find another nanny. Does she drive? I doubt sheep be a good nanny for a toddler. |
Ugh, simmer down. I'm sure OP means that she can see the nanny walk down a hallway and turn into the bathroom from a camera in a common area. I'm sure there are no cameras in the bathroom. OP, how do you know the bathroom smells? Get an exhaust fan installed, put a candle and matches in there, etc. |
