Sitter needed during business hours
12/16/2015
Start date: 1/4/2016
$6.00 per hour 1 child (Preschool)

Very inquisitive lovable little guy (3yrs old) who asks a lot of questions. He is very independent, wants to do it all himself. Wants to help do everything. Knowledgeable with the alphabet and counting up to 10. No allergies, sitter needs to be CPR / First aid certified and have at least 10 + years caring for toddlers. I will provide his meals and I will transport him to and from the sitters home. Drop off by 730 am and pick up by 530 pm. I say can afford $65 to $75 a week or $150 every two weeks. If interested please let me know. Need to pass a criminal background check and drug testing.

They're two peas in a pod, aren't they? Should be illegal.

High-maintnance, 3 year old in need of constant stimulation is in need of a nanny! He will get into everything and constantly get in your way!
The pay is just over $1 per hour! I require that you have years an years of experience and that you allow him to jack up your house and run up your utility bills! I will make constant demands and have opinions on how you do things. I do pay you after all.
You must pass a background check and drug test...but you'll have to pay for them!

What's hilarious is that she says the pay is an illegal $6/hour, but in reality she's offering less than $1/hour when you consider 20 freakin hours of OT. I sincerely pray that this was some kind of joke/mistake, but if it's real I weep for the poor child and the monster/idiot who ends up being his caregiver.

This woman needs to get on government assistance and find an in home daycare. Its sad that this is all she can afford, but where do you get off trying to get private in home care, with years of experience, and this is what you can pay? Being poor is no excuse for breaking the law and trying to get something for nothing.

She's saying she wants to drop off at 7:30am and pick up at 5:30pm at your house, and she references pay per week, not pay per day, so that indicates full time. She's hoping for $150 every two weeks, or $75/week. I don't know of a single in-home family daycare that meets what this lady wants. If she qualifies for childcare subsidies, then she might be able to get a situation in which her portion of the fee is within her budget. I'm doubting that though.

16:02 again - just did the math, and at 50 hrs a week, she's offering $1.36/hr if you account for overtime. I've used in-home family daycare and it was more like $5/hr per child several years ago at a good place. You can find home daycares closer to $4/hr, but they were really bad IMO.

Or shittercity.com

Don't even bother with those sites. To be honest if a family can't afford or is too cheap to pay a reputable agency to find good luxury and private childcare for themselves then they really need to use daycares and in home care centers

Some families are left in the lurch by unprofessional nannies. A family who wants permanent care in place within 1 week doesn't have time for the agency to sit around and dither.

Unprofessional nannies that they more than likely found on care.com, craigslist or sittercity. Most agencies have already done the screening and interviewing for you and will just arrange the meetings for them. But them not having the money to pay for that is very telling.

If they are hard pressed for time there are tons of Primroses, Goddard Schools, and more daycares all over the place they can pay. The crazy thing is that they want to pay what they would pay to a company to an individual for a salary. If your budget for childcare is less than $500 a week then you need to use daycare or just part time nannies

I will never understand or agree with broke ass people trying to keep up with the Jones wanting to hire one on one care.
