Our first 2 nannies were both in their 20s and very good looking. Both were also responsible and mature individuals who DH and I liked and knew would do an excellent job of caring for our children. DH works from home a LOT and I did worry that the nanny might prefer not to have him around all the time because it's easier to handle the kids when we're not around. I have never worried what DH and the nanny might be doing while I was at work because I knew it wasn't something that I had to worry about.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on this OP.

I think Jennifer Garner was possibly trying to test her husband when she hired that younger prettier nanny since no wife in her right mind would do such a thing unless she was trying to bait her spouse.

People can shake their heads at this and say if you trust your hubby, then there is nothing to worry about.

For those people, get out from under the rock you are living in and live in reality.

Any man out there would be tempted by a younger beautiful woman around him in his most intimate surroundings with his most prized possessions. Any man.

Man here and I stumbled on this site looking for a new nanny for our kids.

This post and some of the responses are really dysfunctional.I love my kids and wife and would never do something so stupid as to destroy thr most important people in my life.

If I wanted to be an idiot and have an affair, I'd do it at thr office where there is a separation between my kids and that acticity.

I can only imagine the kind of pigs you women married that you can't have trust in your marriage and have to protect against younger women. Any man who would carry on with his children's child care provider is a scumbag.

I assure you that there are more good men out there than bad ones. I hope some of you find that one day.

As an actial married man with a strong moral compass, I can assure you I know myself well enough to know I'd never have an affair of any sort with my children's nanny. Not all men are incapable or unwilling to control themselves.

I'm sorry for your experiences with men. Your are not the norm.
