He asked me to close the on suite bathroom during nap time in case any "exoic animals" came though the toilet to eat the baby. He was mainly concerned about snake, and he was dead serious.

Any one else work for legit crazies?

That's pretty hilarious, but it actually can happen. I'd be totally afraid it had happened recently and I'd be worried!!!

Omg! I had a family try to do BabyWise on a 8 week. I quit that same week. MB texted be 24/7 for ridiculous stuff.

My MB is mostly pretty awesome, but she did spend like 3 hours today turning the house upside down looking for a missing toy. Not a special toy, just one that is part of a set and she couldn't rest knowing that the set wasn't complete.

I am guilty of this as well - it bugs me when toys are incomplete!

No reference or background checks whatsoever.

They simply take you at full face value as a sweet + kind nanny.

(Parents like this are just too damn lazy to put in the time/effort involved to securing a safe nanny.)

I know of a Single DB who one night went and laid on top of his weekend nanny!!! He didn't think that anything was wrong with that. She went to the police, they didn't do anything about it. That's a crazy boss!

No one has taken Babywise seriously since the 80s, I seriously doubt there are as many nannies running into adamant bayberries parents as this forum would lead one to believe. I'm sure it's just one person posting multiple babywise stories and made up topics.
