Just curious to see how fairly I am or am not being compensated. And please be honest.

No two jobs are the same. Sorry.

My range is about $25.

I currently care for a 2 1/2 year old from 7-5, Monday-Friday. I am paid $16/hr. MB is pregnant and due with a baby in the next few weeks and then will be on maternity leave until the end of May. Once she goes back to work full-time, I will get a pay raise to $17/hr.

I'm 25 and have about 8 years of experience if that matters at all.

DC area, 1 child, 50 hours, $975 per week. But like the PP said, no two jobs are the same. I'm not going to list my credentials or duties here but suffice to say I do not do housekeeping other than related to my charge.

A baby is a boatload of work for a dollar an hour. Hope it works out for you.

PP here: I am well aware of that. By the time I have the baby full-time, she will be 12 weeks old and I just don't see the need to ask for more then a $1/hr raise just to be caring for a toddler and infant.

Your employers found themselves a real bargain. Good for them.

2 girls, ages 12 months and 3 years, I make a guaranteed salary of $750\week. Usually about 45 hours a week. Every 3 weeks I work about 25 hours for one week and still get my salary. I am also paid OT of $25/hr for every hour worked past 5:00.

Also get reimbursed for driving, and get all major holidays payed, plus whenever they take vacations I am off and also payed (usually 3-4 weeks a year)

I am a 24 hr live in nanny in the DC area. I take care of 3 toddlers 96 hrs each week. I make 700 per week. I am able to live in on the days I don't work in a nice basement apartment. I am also provided a car and health insurance. Yes technically I make min wage but I am also paid to sleep.

$57,000/yr, benefits, and gas money. I use my own car for work and don't get, ask, or expect milage reimbursement.

Most nannies fall between 15 and 25 an hour. Obviously, the more education and experience you have, the higher salary you can command. It also depends on how much overtime you work.

No matter which way you spin it this sounds like a horrible life, horrible job, and horrible wage.

Yes the other 3 days each week they do. I'm the only nanny they have.
