Nannies are not general maids and babysitters. Leaving your house in a mess makes her job much more difficult. She is only responsible for washing dishes used while she is on duty and laundry for children, not adults. If you want more then you pay a lot more. How would you like it if your boss gave you his/her laundry or expected you to vacuum theirbe would raise holy hell.

Most nannies do the kids laundry. And the nanny needs the sink. I don’t freak out over a dish or two but would resent if I had to wash your dinner dishes.

Btw, your clothes smell musty if you leave them wet in the washing machine all day. You’ll smell moldy.
