Agree no big deal assuming some level of familiarity with the "nanny" - what this thread tells us is that all HMs arent exactly the same and we really need to communicate our parenting style and expectations to our APs. They can't read our minds. Reset convo something like:
"I know I didnt say anything when you mentioned this to me the other day, but I wanted to clarify my expectations with regards to who you trust with little Billy. I am not comfortable with you entrusting his safety at the park to anyone I do not know well. That means Nanny Jane, AP Melissa or AP Jenny. I really prefer next time you take him with you if you need to go to the store unless one of those other child care providers is there and offers to watch him. Is that clear? Thanks"
