The challenge is that there is only one best nanny and one best employer, hope you find each other, however you make that determination. The rest of the nannies and employers will have to make some compromises. |
I can see how this would enhance a vacation for some parents, and I have done this with APs. I don't think too many would be willing to spend an additional $6000-10000/week on it for the privilege of having a nanny along (once you add in nanny's extra travel fees, OT, transportation, accommodations, extra food, and nanny's salary*). *And if it's not a vacation week that counts toward the nanny's vacation, there's that issue as well. (i.e. might be easier for the parents to care for the kids on vacation than find substitute care while working.) |
