I would double check on the rules in your state for overtime. At the federal level, domestic service workers who reside in their employers' residences are listed as exempt from the FLSA OT pay requirements (https://www.dol.gov/compliance/guide/minwage.htm).

FSO here. we all fly our nannies back and pay live-in rates, food, board, travel. Live in rates are <$10/hr across the board. ask anyone at state department w/kids.
