Nannies- Would you apply to this job? RSS feed

I would rather scrub toilets for the Queen of England!!!

This person sounds jaded, has a pre-conceived motion about nannies already and is definitely a Type A personality. On crack.

She clearly has a huge chip on her shoulder and will be difficult if not completely impossible to satisfy.

She obviously views her potential nanny as simply the "Hired Help," and this job should be titled "A Summer in Hell" period.

OP, what is she offering for pay?

Yes, we found it on craigslist. But OP said it's on care, I'd like to know what this crazy MB is willing to offer.

The nanny is not family or a friend. A nanny is the "hired help." Its a job and they are getting paid.

I don't take positions in which I'm not considered an equal voice. The interview is for the parents to find out whether they want me to work with them, and whether I want to work with them. Any can terminate, notice period is the same from nanny or employer, and the same types of things are listed for nanny terminating for cause as compared to employer terminating for cause.

I might do this job for the right price like others have said. Some of what she said in the ad was ridiculous (reading her mind) but the rest I'd be okay with!
