If the nanny is so good she can find a new job very easily. So don't you worry abt her.

OP here. We did what was best for us. Our nanny lined something up starting Thursday. She will be fine and doesn't hold a grudge. She even accepted babysitting for Friday evening.

Always tell ASAP so she can start looking for a new job. Most nannies and parents give 30 days notice

So glad it resolved peacefully and amicably! Most nannies and families are actually absolutely fine and are good people and do by each other well, contrary to what we see on dcum.

Hope your kid enjoys daycare!
