You'd be in a far worse situation than I would if I just walked out. I can have a fantastic new job with the snap of my fingers.
You'd have to take a lot of time off to stay with your children while in search of a new nanny.
Don't forget who makes it possible for you to sign that paycheck.

It's her job and responsibility to take care of her children, so, tough. Recovering from Having a baby is easy and billions of women have done so without all the nonsense of today's women. She had a baby not chemo.

Actually, since you are being PAID to do it, it's also yours[b].

Hence, Nanny as Parent phenomenon.

BS. Mom can take a nap and still be involved with her kids. Nanny is acting in place of the parent when mom is on maternity leave, mom is there.

-Nanny who has worked 24/7, with kids who saw the parents less than once a week

I agree, a mom can definitely be a good parent and still need a nap. Hovewever as a nanny I have a feeling that the napping is just the icing on the cake. Most nannies who would complain about this have a poor working relationship with their MB. Being a good employee is hard, being a good employer when you have no one to answer to is very difficult.
