Nannies - do you truly love your charge?

I honestly do love my full-time charge. I have been with him since he was born and am very devoted to him and his well-being. I do go the extra mile for him every day.

I like my weekend charges. I care for them well and enjoy their company but it isn't the same.

I'm going to be honest here. My last NF I didn't love the older child and we were not connected. I did however love his younger brother. I still think of him. My current charge I love dearly as well.

Yes I love them, there's no doubt about that. Do I love them as much as I'd love my own children? Not quite. But I do love them.!

I would do anything for these kids - shield them from a shooter, jump in front of a bus, you name it. Of course it's not the same as what their parents' feel but I absolutely love and cherish them.

God yes. I nannied for 2 wonderful girls and I still think of them and love them every single day. I adore them.

I have loved some and liked others and liked others part of the time. Overall, it has depended on whether the child wanted me there, not their personality, behavior or the parent.
