I am afraid of my mb's reaction RSS feed

Do not go to the housewarming party
Did they invite you because they want you to work, or are you supposed to mingle with the quests?

The end of the story is that I told the truth to my mb, she was disapointed and was shocked that my husband did this.
She felt sorry for me and is not mad at me (it's not my fault after all).

I am going to divorce my husband. This was the last straw. And yes he pawned the necklace, you were right ...

I'm a wreck, luckily I have a few close friends to help me because since I told him I wanted to get a divorce, he started drinking again and has broken some furniture/windows
I'm leaving the house next weekend (he doesn't know), because I'm afraid of him and can't stand the stress anymore.

I'm sad to loose my house, I don't know if I'll afford renting a small apartment... I don't know if the house will sell soon, if my husband will leave me alone ... tons of questions I have to deal with.

thank you for your input

OP, I'm sorry for what you are going through. I'm sure it doesn't seem like it one but in the long run your will be better off without him. From what you have said he sounds like a horrible person. Good luck to you.

OP here. Thank you.
He is a nice man when he's sober ... And he has a problem with money, he has a gambling problem which I thought was over ... but he went too far with selling the necklace, I thought I could lose my job over that but my mb was really smart about it.
I had a talk with him and now he agrees to the divorce, we're sharing the house until it is sold.

Just stop with the trolling OP. You had a fine little fun run but it's time to stop and end this ridiculous thread.

Yes, I'm sure you're a troll. Among other details you can't get right that others have pointed out, you said in your OP that your husband spent the alleged money on "useful things". Now, he has a gambling problem.

Successful trolling requires you to keep your story straight.

Now go away.

OP here.

You don't have to believe me, I'm fine with that.

He did spend the money on useful things (I won't go into detail but it has to do with our house and I saw it with my own eyes).

Anyways ...
